Arthur M. Cambeiro, M.D.

Dr. Cambeiro is Mayo Clinic trained and Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery(ABS). He is also Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)

Arthur M. Cambeiro, M.D. is a native of Las Vegas and graduated from Bishop Gorman Preparatory School. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California in the Psychobiology Honors Program. Dr. Cambeiro earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Colorado where he was honored with the coveted Owens-Swan award for the most promising surgeon in his medical class. At the time of his medical training, the University of Colorado was ranked four in the nation for top clinical medical schools in the United States (US News and World Report).

In transition to general surgery residency, Dr. Cambeiro embarked on a journey to Honduras performing missionary work as a general surgeon at the local medical clinics. He completed his residency in Phoenix, Arizona where he trained for five years in general and vascular/trauma surgery at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program. During his training, Dr. Cambeiro served as Chief Surgery Resident and scored 99th percentile in the nation on his American Board of Surgery in-service examinations. Dr. Cambeiro, was among an elite number to continue his training with a fellowship in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery at the world famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. During his time there, Dr. Cambeiro participated with Global Health Outreach, donating his surgical skills to correct congenital facial defects on children living in Vietnam. His experience at the Mayo Clinic has been invaluable and he is extremely proud to have been a part of an organization whose hospitals are consistently ranked as one of the top hospitals in the nation (US News and World Report).

He consistently scores in the top 95th percentile in the nation on his certifying exams and is triple board certified surgeon through the National Board of Medical Examiners, American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Cambeiro has been voted by doctors and nurses as one of Las Vegas’s Top Plastic Surgeons in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and has been listed consistently in the “Guide to Americas Top Plastic Surgeons.” In addition, he has been featured in several renowned publications such as Glamour and Allure for his state of the art techniques in plastic surgery. He serves on the Foundation Board of Directors and the Community Board of Directors for all three St. Rose Hospitals.

Dr. Cambeiro is a Plastic Surgeon with extensive experience in cosmetic surgery. He prides himself in utilizing his knowledge in psychology coupled with his surgical experience and technical skills to focus on the patient’s needs of physical beauty as well as their inner-self. Plastic surgery is a passion not merely a profession for Dr. Cambeiro.
